Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

This policy describes how information is handled across the O2M website, applications, integrations, and support services.

1. Scope and our role

This Privacy Policy explains how O2M (“O2M”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles personal data when you visit o2m.in, request a demo, apply to become a partner, contact support, or use the O2M multichannel commerce platform and related services (together, the “Services”).

For account, website, sales, and support information, O2M generally determines why and how the data is used. When a business customer connects sales channels or uploads commerce data, that customer generally determines the purposes of processing and O2M processes the data to provide the Services. The customer remains responsible for its notices, permissions, and lawful instructions.

2. Data we collect

We may collect information you provide, including your name, business contact details, company, role, account credentials, partner or demo application details, support messages, preferences, and subscription or transaction records.

The platform may process data you or your authorized integrations submit, including product catalogues, SKUs, categories, images, prices, inventory, marketplace listings, orders, returns, fulfilment details, channel identifiers, and customer contact or delivery information contained in orders.

We may automatically receive device and usage information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP, pages or features used, dates and times, referring URLs, diagnostic logs, cookie identifiers, and security events. Connected marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, and other integrations may provide data according to the permissions you grant them.

3. How we use data

  • Provide, operate, authenticate, support, and secure the Services.
  • Synchronize products, listings, inventory, orders, and related workflows at your direction.
  • Set up accounts, respond to enquiries, process applications, and communicate service notices.
  • Monitor performance, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve features.
  • Administer subscriptions and enforce agreements.
  • Comply with law, respond to valid legal process, and protect users, O2M, and others.
  • Send marketing communications where permitted; you may opt out at any time.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on the context and applicable law, we process personal data to perform a contract, take requested pre-contract steps, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, act with consent, or for other lawful uses. Where consent is the basis, it may be withdrawn without affecting earlier processing.

5. How we share data

We may share data with cloud hosting, communications, analytics, security, customer-support, professional-advisory, and payment providers that help us operate the Services. We may also exchange data with marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, carriers, or other services that you choose to connect.

We may disclose data when required by law or valid legal process; to investigate security, fraud, or rights violations; during a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business; or with your direction or consent. We do not authorize service providers to use customer data for their own unrelated purposes.

6. Integrations and third parties

Third-party platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. O2M does not control how those parties process data. You should review their policies and connection permissions before enabling an integration. Disconnecting an integration stops future access through that connection but may not delete data already synchronized into O2M or retained by the third party.

7. International processing

O2M and its service providers may process data in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards and follow applicable restrictions on cross-border transfers.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the data type, account status, customer instructions, contractual commitments, legal requirements, and backup cycles. Data may be deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated when no longer required.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, monitoring, and measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, limiting user permissions, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, erase, or obtain information about your personal data; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; request portability; and raise a grievance. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception applies.

If O2M processes your information for one of our business customers, please contact that customer first. We will assist the customer with verified requests as required. You can manage some account information in the Services and unsubscribe from marketing through the message or by contacting us.

11. Cookies

Our website and Services may use essential cookies for authentication, preferences, security, and core operation, and may use analytics technologies to understand performance and usage. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.

12. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for their independent use of the Services. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data contrary to applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or law. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.

14. Contact us

For privacy questions, rights requests, or grievances, email support@o2m.in. Please describe your relationship with O2M and the request. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity and locate relevant records.
